9 women got together in Virginia for an intro to bike packing trip. We met in Charles City VA and had lunch at Culs Courthouse Grille. The food was fantastic and the service great. We packed our bikes and headed south on the Capitol Trail to the Chickahominy Camp Ground in James City County. After setting up our tents and getting things squared away for later, we took off on our bikes, which were much lighter now, heading for Jamestown. The ride was quite nice as we passed through fields and stopped to read the historic markers. We made it to Jamestown and then did the loop around Jamestown Island. By the time we made it back to the campground, we had done a total of 33 miles and we were all ready for some dinner, and some sleep. The weather the next day was not promising so we headed back to our cars and headed home or out to lunch. It was a great weekend.
