Why did the chicken cross the road? Well, to mess with the cyclists in the A Group who were flying by, or course. No Joke…we slowed for chickens.
The B+ Group quickly became the A Group. There was no holding back today. Kevin, Phil, two Sams, Pete and I started the route together. Pete dropped back with the B/C group for a well deserved recovery ride following his race day yesterday. The remaining group of 5 completed the lolipop route for 27.5ish miles at (Strava) 21.1 mph average.
The B/C group rode out with Charles, Eric Baker and his wife….soon joined by Pete for a modified route which included the Lighthouse.
Perfect conditions this morning…mid 60’s at the start, light winds, dry roads.
