A group of us took advantage of the amazing weather on Sunday for another peddle and paddle. Nadine, Franklin, Tracy Amanda and I did about 21 miles from Saint Leonard Shores to Broomes Island and back. The humidity was down but it was still pretty warm so that climb up Bond Street (11% ? grade) made some of us dig really deep. Carrie joined us at the break for ice cream sandwiches and juice bars before heading out with our kayaks and paddle boards. It was idyllic on the water – warm but not too hot, the fish were jumping, herons galore and all around perfect
