What a glorious morning for a group ride. We welcomed 3 new faces and 2 returning faces and 5 faithful regulars for a total of 10 riders. The social ride turned spirited along parts of the route leading to a number of personal records. My favorite spot for photo opportunities down by the water provided us with a rare sighting of an eagle. The eagle was very near and perched in a tree. What an uplifting experience. We finished the ride with a visit to Lotus Kitchen.
