WELCOME!

Solomons Island Cycling, or SIC as we like to call ourselves, is an awesome group of people that love cycling fat and skinny tire alike. We support and help one another at all opportunities. We always have a great time together doing what we love. We're also lucky to have a local bike shop, Patuxent Adventure Center, that's always there to support the group in anyway they can.

Did Rosaryville this afternoon. Muddiest, most slippery ride I've ever done. Was not expecting those coditions at all. Rosaryville is usually better than Cedarville do we might meet some muddy spots tomorrow.

Here is something cool...a rare Wright Brothers bicycle at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in DC.

Check the tooth spacing on the chain ring. Otherwise, looks like fundamental frame design hasn’t radically changed a whole lot through the ages. Cool, eh?
